Hire our function venue for your event

Soak up spectacular views overlooking the historical town of Graaff-Reinet and the surrounding mountains whilst indulging in cuisine prepared and served by the students-in-training.  

The SA College for Tourism also caters for a variety of off-site functions, making use of different venues and setups to suit the theme and size of the event. Events range from conferences, workshops, weddings, dance events and birthday parties to name a few. We offer a wide variety of menu options that can be tailored to your specific needs.

By having your event at SACT provides the students with much-needed practical experience from setting up the venue to preparing the food and waiting on your tables.

OUR VENUE FACILITIES INCLUDE:

• Commercial kitchen as well as a state-of-the-art training kitchen
• Licenced cash bar
• Card payment facility
• Elevator
• Upstairs conference venue with a seating capacity of 200 guests
• Downstairs restaurant with a seating capacity of 150 guests
• Dance floor
• Bathroom facilities upstairs and downstairs
• All tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and glassware are included
• Standard table linen, serviettes and chair covers are available

The SA College for Tourism is a non-profit organisation that operates under the auspices of Peace Parks Foundation. It was established in 2001 by Dr Anton Rupert, renowned financier and philanthropist and at the time chairman of Peace Parks Foundation, and developed in partnership with the Rupert Family Foundations, as well as other international agencies and public donors.
